Felecia also had a serious heart condition. 8 days after having her third child, Liam, she suffered a heart attack. She had open heart surgery, started wearing an external pump to keep her heart beating properly, and was on the waiting list for a heart transplant. Since then, Felecia has been in and out of the hospital with the most recent of lengthy stays due to a staph infection at the site of her mainline.
Very recently Felecia was released from the hospital wearing a wound vac and having weekly check ups with her doctor. She was doing well, and even made it to our homeschool moms night out on Thursday. All she could talk about was how excited she was to see her kids after 4 weeks away with Brian’s parents.
It is with a broken heart that I share the news that Felicia Galloway passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 16th. We are all in shock.
This family needs us to surround them with care during this extremely painful time.
They need our prayers. There is so much to be done, decided, dealt with, explained, and worked through. They need our prayers to handle it all with grace. They need our prayers to hold them up and help them to walk this out.
They need our financial help as well. Everything that Felecia did so well will now need to be done by other people. Brian needs to be with his children as we take care of everything else. We need to be the hands and feet of Christ and minister to this hurting family in every way we can.
Please consider giving and please share this post with everyone you know. This family needs our prayers and our help.
Thank you friends.
