What vision do you have for your family?

As we have thought over these questions, we have come up with 3 main ideas.
We want to be spiritually strong.
We want to be physically strong.
We want to be family strong.
We believe that by having these 3 ideas as the vision for our family, we will be a strong family unit that glorifies God.
For the next 30 days we are going to kickstart these ideas in a purposeful and fun way, bringing our family closer together and stronger as a unit.
What does this include?
For 30 days we will workout as a family, following THIS PLAN, to strengthen our entire bodies with various levels of difficulty. This workout plan includes 5 days on, 2 days off a week.
For 30 days we will eat healthy, whole foods that do not irritate or inflame our bodies, with absolutely zero processed foods and zero cheats. The paleo diet. That means we will be eating meats, fish, eggs, fruits, veggies, berries, nuts and good fats. It will not include grains, dairy, soy, legumes or any processed sugar. We will be following this 30 DAY MEAL PLAN.
For 30 days we will be purposefully studying God’s word together every day and memorizing scripture to strengthen our family. We are following this 30 DAY GUIDE for what we will be reading and what scripture we will be memorizing.
For 30 days we will purpose to have fun! We will purposefully play together, encourage each other, and do things as a family. This is not complicated at all, just a reminder to ourselves to not go through the motions but truly enjoying being a family.

Here’s how I look at it. Yes, this could be difficult. It will take planning. It very well might rub up against our already comfortable schedule.
It also might be a lot of fun. I guarantee it will bring us closer as a family. It will absolutely make us stronger both physically and spiritually. We’re even hoping this will get us to shed some pounds.
You can follow this as much as you choose or as little as you want, as long as you stay within the guidelines. 30 days. No excuses, no cheats, no slips.
We are committing for 30 days to eat only whole and natural foods, to exercise as a family, to be in God’s word, and to have lots of family fun!
